    Motometer tire pressure gauge

Is the shwon Motometer tire pressure gauge ever used for an early 911? I can't find the answer in Brett's book and would appreciate some help from you.

    Thanks,

My guess, strictly a guess, is that your gauge is aftermarket. For a time, Porsche included gauges of this style in their tool kits, but dropped the practice...not sure exactly when. If memory serves, the ones the factory supplied were MESKO, something like that. I have an old Drager gauge in this style, but I distinctly remember buying it aftermarket, from a PANO ad back in the late 60's...I'm not sure, but I don't think a tire pressure gauge was part of my '66 912 tool kit...so maybe Porsche dropped the practice of including a gauge when the 356 models ceased production?
