    Scheel buckets in old bimmers?

    Check this pic of a 3.0 CSiL:



    The Ebay ad even mentions them as Scheels:

    Possibly another fine way to source these seats for those who want them.

    I've been following this auction Dave. I don't think that price is going to be any where near reserve - if it is, I'll be bidding!. I've seen these sell for $85K or so. Even at that level, they are a bargain compared to a 73 RS. Rarer too, with only 1096 cars built. Aluminum trunk, doors, hood. Lightweight seats. The 'Series 3 and 3.5' are the really cool ones - the so-called 'Batmobile' with all the wings, bigger motor, etc. The eBay car is a Series 2.
