911 S, MY 1972 fully restaured, help me to quote it!

    Dear Sirs,
I own a 911 S Coupe fully restaured from zero. The car is fully loaded of genuine options and has been equipped (in 1974) with the duck tail of 911 RS 73. Engine, gearbox, steering system, suspension and genuine Air conditioning system have been rebuilt at Porsche importer workshop with use of genuine Porsche parts. Body and all finishing items have been restaured under factory standards. Even the carpet (salt and pepper) is a genuine component
manually produced in Britain by Southbound. So a
    fantastic masterpiece!
Could you kindly help me to estimate how much could a car like this worth in US?
    Thanks in advance.

I am sure there will be resounding pleas for pictures. That said, if your car is a true early 'S' ('67 - '73), restored to concours standards, the sky is the limit. Given the concours quality assumption, $75K is not out of the question.

1972 -1973 911S with desirable colors (silver, white, red, etc.) and options (factory sunroof, sport seats, etc.) in UNRESTORED condition are around $40,000 here. I have seen 3 or 4 at this price over the past few weeks. I suppose you could add what you feel the work on yours has been worth and add that to the $40,000. Then, put that total as your reserve and put it on ebay and see what happens. GL.

Billy, I think that this is overly generous. I am pretty sure that you can find an S in some semblence of restore (maybe just paint and interior - not concours) for mid $30's.

But, that doesn't take anything away from the fact that this car may be worth north of $75K

If you find a 72 - 73 911S in that condition for mid $30,000 PLEASE let me know immediately. I am a cash buyer. Like I said, what I have been finding is running $40,000. Thanks.

OK, Here's one from the Classified ads on this website. I can't vouch for the accuracy of the ad or the condition of the car. I only point out the ad.
