The Gold Coast Region of the PCA sponsored a show yesterday in Jupiter, Florida. All proceeds went to a very worthwhile charity...MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers).

Turnout was rather light, with only about 20 of us showing up to endure yesterday's heat index of nearly 110 degrees F

I drove and showed my 930 (as my 356 and T Coupes are both currently in the shop). Although there was a decent assortment of P's represented, the majority were 80's vintage 911 coupes. There was, however, a pretty cool silver 1970 914-6, and, hard to believe, only a single early 911 - a very clean blue (either crystal or glacier??) 1970 T Coupe.

People's choice award went to a 1984 911 Targa. One owner, 4,000 original miles. Red exterior with white leather interior and white fuchs. Ken, the owner, quipped "it's even got the original German air in the tires".
