    911R Wheels

Does anyone know if 911R wheels fit on the rear of a 1972 911
without fender modification? Can you really run 225's without
    rubbing? Many Thanks

I am running 7Rs on a 71 car with 215 tires. I also use a 5mm spacer as without this the tire rubs the inner arch.

Yes, but you need upgraded torsion bars, sway bars, shocks, plus additional negative camber, shaved spring plate bolts and 8-16mm spacers with longer studs.

    7x15 Fuchs

Hello: You can run late style 7x15 Fuchs with 225/50/15 as long as you don't lower the car too much. These wheels are alot cheaper than 7R wheels. Lets see you could buy about 6 late wheels in great shape for 1 7R wheel. I run this setup on many 911's that are run on the track. Thanks Eric

I am running late 7x15s on my 69 912 with 205/55 and my car is lowered a LOT. No spacers. The 225 wouldn't quite make it I don't think.
