1970 911S Targa
On the road again soon.
Hello: I have one with no broken ears and is complete, The pump will need to be gone through (as normal) $ 2995? I can dream can't I. Thanks Eric
I have a complete low mileage 2.4S mfi system with an mfi pump rebuilt by Bosch in Germany & not used since that I have been offered £2000 ($3500) for - it's not for sale.

I don't know which is crazier, the price or the decision not to sell it.

Hello: I would sell that for sure, that is waaaay more money than I thought you would ever get for a pump setup. I bought a whole 70 911 S for less than that 2 years ago and it ran. Thanks Eric
And my "super fund" keeps increasing ...honestly it is starting to get ridiculous though.
On another note - I bought an engine for a customer for his historic race project a few months ago - 2.2S complete from flywheel to exhaust - and he questioned paying $6000 Aussie for it (what I paid). It has everything; all the trinket bits, injection, tinware etc - some people just don't get what it takes to find and buy that stuff little by little .
Cheers,
Lisa
I guess I can understand some of the crazy prices we're seeing for S MFI systems, but only if they're in very good condition. During my rebuild from tired 2.4E to fresh 2.7RS, I bought a set of 2.4T stacks and throttle bodies and sent them to Eurometrix to be refurbished. I sent my E pump to H&R Fuel Injection o be gone through and fitted with an RS space cam. When I was done with this, just over $3000 was missing from my wallet. I have an excellent (functionally RS) MFI system which fully meets the needs for my rebuild. On the other hand, it is not a genuine S or RS system, which to some is just as important.
