Yeah Paul, Woody Creek. Well, that's what the caption is "rs911T-woody-creek". I don't know where I got that photo from. It's great to add some history to it though.

    Gregg:

Sent you 4 pictures of Kermit. Use them as you please. (but let me know if you do use them.)

Here's one of them shrunk for this website.

Woody Creek is pretty sad now...

At least Hunter used to make 'em keep their heads down -- below their $650,000 walls...

The driver in the pic must have been "The mad doctor"...Ron Swarenson. Then a young Colorado MD. He turned some very quick times around that old go-kart track turned "raceway". Not as quick as Grady or Hal Shaw Jr. though. Anybody have a '78 Porsche Cup poster? Hal is listed as #18. Sadly, he's no longer with us. Note the different wheels used on Ron's car. As I've often said, back then we were just guys playing with cars. We had no idea any of this would be considered significant...especially the color of a car cranking around woody creek raceway three decades ago. Randy? Don't think Hunter was into Porsches back then...at least I don't recall seeing him about. I'm grateful for that. If it's celebrity hunting you dig? Yeah, Aspen was okay for that back then...I remember seeing all the Lear Jets lined up at the local small airport and realizing I wasn't in Lebanon, Oregon any more...but hell, it wasn't Eugene either. I'm grateful for that as well.

Maybe I should say, and we are grateful you aren't here too....

HUnter was into m/c's only AFAIK. I was refering to his habit of sending live rounds in the general direction of his neighbor - not to cars.

There is a small isolated town in Wyoming that has a huge collection of Lear Jets at the airport -- the nice thing tho, is that it isn't ostentacious like the Aspen area or like Jackson...

Totally off topic but there were actually 2 1978 Porsche Cup posters. One with the final standings and another congratulating Bob Wollek and Kremer Racing.
