    Wtb 2.2 911s Mfi

    hi,

i somehow recieved carbs on my engine and am looking to get it back to its original aspiration. im looking for an MFI system (complete w or w/o pump) for a 1970 911S 2.2.
i'd like an original system, not a modified E or T system. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks thomas

Good Luck finding one. My car came the same way, and I've found just about everything, after about a year... But you never know. A complete 70 911S system just sold on EBay a couple weeks ago.

i saw it from an old tread of yours, you are all over the place. i have heard the 2.2's are a little easier to find... still searching...

Be patient and keep reminding people. I found an unobtainium '69S MFI, complete with pump recently. These are much harder to find than the 2.2 systems, so there is proof that anything is possible. Just make sure you have the cash in hand in case one pops up. It doesn't pay to be a price shopper on early 'S' MFI.

BTW, I just heard Supertec is now restoring MFI. The vendor list continues to grow; maybe costs will drop with the added competition?
