I have 5 for sale as soon as I can get my deep 6's. I thought $100 each was tops for flat 6's. Guess its like CA real estate

I think the seller gets Al Reed to finish multiple sets. Not a bad plan if this is the kind of $ they get now! $400 for a beat set of 6x15s then $400 to refinish

Here is another set that also broke $1500:

Correct me if I'm wrong. These wheels that sold for over $1500 on ebay are part number 911.361.020.00 which are the 6X15 wheels that replaced the deep dish 6X15 part number 901.361.012.06. The 911.361.020.00 wheel was used beginning in 1972 and utilized the 3 prong center cap. Starting in 1973 the factory started using the 6X15 part number 911.361.020.10 wheel that utilized the ring type center cap.

    6X15 inch Fuchs:
901.361.012.06 early deep dish used from 1969 thru 1971
911.361.020.00 3 prong center cap wheel used in 1972 and early 1973?
911.361.020.10 ring type center cap wheel used from 1973 thru 1977

    Is this correct?

Yes, that's correct - although the exact date at which Porsche switched from the 3-pronged centre caps to the 'ring' type is unclear. Going from the wheels that have passed through my hands I would say it more-or-less coincides with the switch to impact bumpers in Aug '73.
