The Abarth-Simca 1300 Bialbero is a crazy little car......outrageous and really fast due to its low weight.
I am still looking for information on this photo of an Abarth 1300 "Periscopio" that came also in this set. I cannot identify the car with this start number in any of the lists found. I can't find anything about the police license plate either.
    Maybe you have an idea.

    Haul,

Maybe you’ll find some information about the Abarth EE 4 4812 on Caradisiac. It is a site that is a little difficult to search, but it has a few pictures of Abarth cars that were part of the Valvoline Racing team.

Page 103, has a picture of a Metallosa SA Swiss 911 and Abarth EE 4 4812 from the 1970 Fribourg competition

Page 1817 has pictures of Abarth EE 4 4862, another Abarth, a 1968? SWB and a 1969? LWB 911 from the page that might help provide clues on when the pictures were taken.

    Haul,

I was searching for photos from races at St Ursanne Les Rangiers from the 60s and came upon these photos a few months ago. The Abarth caught my eye since I wasn't familiar with the car, so I saved the photos along and included the plate numbers in the file name. Then you posted your photos and we had a match.

The Caradisiac thread is a difficult one to search. If the race location is known along with a date or driver, a search might give a result. The file names on the photos sometimes provide the year and location.

    Regards,
    Eric

Haul, did you mean Fribourg (CH) or Freiburg (D)?
