Is there an outlet that can repair a broken blade and balance the fan?

Thank you for any pointers, Richard

Everything I've read suggests that the only cure is replacement...hoping somebody weighs in proving me wrong...

I wouldn't chance it. It's cast anyway and most castings I've come in contact with are a bear to weld on. In this case you're dealing with an item that is spinning and flexing (abeit just a smidgen). I'd search out a new one/good used. They are out there. What is it off of?

    Good luck,

    Hi Tom,

    Thanks for your input.

What I am actually after is a complete assembly (early housing, gen., 11 blade fan) for a 65 - 911. Complete or parts.

My question regarding the fan repair is that I came across a few fans which suffered all broken blades. I was wondering if they could still be of use.
