    '68 911 T Rallye at Autofarm

I am sure some of you may have already seen this car that Autofarm has for sale, but for those that haven't check it out. Very extensive race history for this rare RHD 911 T Rallye. This would be a hot ticket for someone interested in doing historic racing events any where in the world.

Those short wheelbase cars have an odd look to them. I don't know what it is, but they just look ... odd. That's not to say I don't like 'em, but it's an odd taste for the eyes. Kinda like a 914 ...

I can't explain it, but the way the car looks in that picture the SWB is very pronounced ... and it's an oddity that is exacerbated by the flares.

    And that big white dot.

SWB is the purest - don't mess with it.

What's the deal with the "Minis"? You mean the rear rims, am I right? What's special about those and why were they so often only used on the rear? I think I need a little history lesson here.

    Thanks

In those days Fuchs's widest rim was 7" so to go wider meant going to alternative sources, hence the 9" Minilites which now fetch similar money to 7Rs.

2 BRX has recently been returned to its original colour scheme but may be more recognisable like this
