Has anyone had any experience with the Ebay seller that goes by PD911R? He appears to carry good quality Porsche parts.

Yes, his name is Petar Kostic and I recently had a very satisfactory eBay transaction with him.

I bought a flywheel from Petar and went to Santa Cruz to pick it up. Nice guy and was very legit, I would trust him.

The individual that I am corresponding with is Axel Brown. He seems very conscientious and diligent. I'll let you know how it turns out in a week or so.
Thanks for your responses.
Guys, let me make an introduction here. R Tincher & I go wayy back to '95. Shortly after the article appeared in Excellence featuring my car, he contacted me, wanting to buy it. We wrote back & forth several times, it being my pre-computer days. Bob, welcome aboard! BTW, I still have my car...it's odo turned 51,000 yesterday! I think it still looks good, considering the high mileage.

Tom or Jay - do either of you have a contact # for Peter? I am being contacted by an Axel Brown as representative of PD911R and being asked to send money to London for a factory sport seat. Doesn't seem right given your descriptions.
Thanks again, and thanks to Paul for the introduction. I think I was probably among the first 100 or so to ask if he wanted to sell his car. I'll post a couple of pictures of my emerald E when I can figure out the formatting.

This turned out to be a fraudulent second chance offer that was not associated with Petar Kostic, but was using his Ebay listing. Thanks to Tom and Jay for helping me avoid it.

Glad you were able to avoid being burned. That is a common scam, now.

Guys, Robert emailed me some pics of his current ride, a gorgeous '73E...I hope he can reduce 'em for posting some time....I gave him a sales pitch for becoming a registry member. After all, he just saved a buck or two, right?
