    Engine Bay Decals

I have researched extensively to find out the correct engine bay decals for a 1970 T, specifically the correct decal for the 2nd space from the left. Most of the usual catalogs show a tire pressure decal for the 70 E and 70 S, but no mention of a tire pressure decal for a T. Does anyone have an original US 1970 T with all engine decals in place?

    Thanks in advance,

    Rob,

We have 901-006-507-00 and 911-006-512-00 in stock. We've just finished adding pictures for the majority of our early 911 decals to our website, they can be found at

Our descriptions attached to each decal are taken from original Porsche Parts Manuals, in which the descriptions are not always all-inclusive. Hope this helps!

Maybe there's a concours type out there that knows, but I've noticed that cars with apparently original engine decals have ones that have solid black lines at the outside edge, while (some) replacements have a part number inside the line, as in the valve clearance decal below. Its like after some point the the factory started putting part numbers in all that were made. I have a couple with no part number on them, but all replacements for that type that I've seen available from any source do have the part number.

But as with a lot of things on these cars, its hard to find consistency. The valve clearance decal on my car is either original, or from within three years of when the car was new, and it does have the part number, like the one pictured. It's the only decal on my car that does, so I've looked for one without for a long time, but every one of these decals I have ever seen from any source is the same way.

Anyone out there a certified Decal Detective?

Did decals ever come in silver? I saw a 73S that had silver decals.
