    MFI pump part number

    Hi,

Does anybody have a listing of the various MFI pumps that Porsche used? My restorer has a '70S the he thinks is from Europe. He would like to see if it has the correct MFI pump. I thought I saw a listing somewhere, but I couldn't find it.

    Thanks,
    Neil

I don't remember them all, but a 2.2S pump ends in 009. I've got a couple of them.

Are you interested in selling one of those 009 pumps?

    Gib,

At this time one is in use on my car and one is in reserve for a 2.6 short stroke buildup I am planning. So I am not willing to sell the second one at this time. They are out there though.

    MFI Pump Numbers

    Neilk
Hi the numbers from my copy of "check, measure and adjust" are
    1969 2.0 S 0408 126 005
    1969 2.0 E 006

    1970 2.2 S 009
    1970 2.2 E 010

    1972 2.4 S Europe 013
    1972 2.4 S USA 021
    1972 2.4 E 014
    1972 2.4 T 015

    1973 2.7 RS 019

so it looks as if the only one that is US specific is the 72 / 73 2.4 S??
