American Racing Torque Thrust "D" Tech Spec's & Fitment Advice

    To the collective "brain" trust
I know the backspacing of these wheels is 4 & 3/4 inches. Does anyone know the offset? I have two stock bodied cars I would like to park the wheel/tire combo's under. They are a 1971 914-6 and a 1973 911 S. I am planning on putting 6"x15" magnesium wheels on the front and 7"x15" aluminum wheels on the rear. What would be the best tire size mix available. I do not want to roll the fenders or in any other way alter the stock body on either car.
Any and all input will be much appreciated
    Thanks to all
    Mark

On my 15x6 magnesiums I have 205/60 on the front and 215/60 on the rear. Fits very nicely.
Im not sure if you really want to mix the mag and aluminum from front to back. Besides looking noticably different, you are going to struggle keeping the mag wheels looking as good as the aluminum. Just a thought

Make sure you post pics when you are done.

    Dave,
I was considering doing this combo since the wheels all come from the same gene pool. Ideally wish I had some 7"x15" magnesium for the rear or 6"x15" aluminum for the front. I have a set of 6"x15" magnesium and a set of 7"x15" aluminum to work with. The idea is to compensate for the rear weight bias of the car. Thanks for responding to the thread

Here is a 7" on a 914, rubs and needs to be rolled more.
