    Excellence Issue: which month with the TRE linen grey car?

    Need some help, can someone tell me which issue featured the linen grey car with the minilites built by TRE? I would like to re-read that article - AWESOME CAR!

    Dangit Bob....you got me lookin. I found the issue with Freeman's beauty in it and a few other total favorites, but I can't seem to find that one. Maybe it's in the downstairs bathroom...hehe.

    hold on Paul - Kenik was kind enough to send me a PM over on pelican since this site has been down most of the day. it's the April 2005 issue.
    it's great that all these early hot rods are making an appearance in excellence.
    who can count all the R Gruppe members who have their car in Excellence?

    Well, I must say...R Gruppe cars are in Excellence quite frequently. It makes a statement that our cars are as widely accepted as the 100% pure originals as far as I can see. There's plenty of room out there for both the purists and the Gruppies and the reading public loves them both. Excellence magazine is proof positive of that.

    Linnen Grey....

    just re-read that article - what a great car! i think a camera crew needs to show up at TRE for the german version of OVERHAULED or is it OVERHAULIN'?
