    Anti-Theft Devices - Need Advice

    Hi all,

Just rented a warehouse for al my toys and now I am getting paranoid about car theft.

What anti-theft devices do you have recommend and where to get/ install it (Locking bars, kill switches, etc.)? Which ones work best with classic cars?

    Thanks,

    Mike

If you have a warehouse, then I'd be worrying about someone getting access to the place with a flatbed.

My advice would be: multiple, current appraisals -- and really good insurance.

If these are all collectable cars, I would suggest you go with devices/techniques that require no holes drilled in the car...also, talk to an alarm company's rep...it may be wise to alarm the rented warehouse...motion detectors are difficult for burglars to defeat. I have 'em all over the place here, along with the other usual devices. Some are silent, some are "whoop-whoop". I like silent when I'm home. A device wakes me up, I can then arm myself...
