RGruppe Pines to Palms Run Nov 19-20 !!!

Hi guyz...well, It's that time again. Time to set aside the weekend of Nov 19-20 for our annual "Pines to Palms" run out to Palm Springs.

This is a chance to bring along that special lady and to thank her for putting up with a 911 owning husband or boyfriend. The ladies are encouraged to come on out...!!

Specific info will be forthcoming, but for a brief overview the route will be the same as last year and we will end up at our hosts house for a well deserved lunch. I will advise of the host hotel, Probably the WYNDHAM PALM SPRINGS HOTEL. Then an open afternoon - either the Palm Springs Airport Warbirds museum, or shopping for the ladies minutes away downtown... or for those up for it, there are vintage auto races To be hosted by HSR West down at the Cocheran airport

Here's the info from HSR West website:

Nov 18-20th "Palm Springs Revival" Historic Auto racing Festival.
at the Jacqueline Cochran Airport, Coachella Valley.
A 2.2 mile challenging track with /8 turns.

The airport is way south of downtown Palm Springs....so logistics need to be factored in...we'll need to eat & run upon our arrival Sat or, maybe we'll stop on by 1st thing Sun a.m.? Everything is open at this point.

My two Lovely RGruppe assistants, Sheila & Gloria will be lining us up with another fabulous hot spot to dine at Sat evening as well.....So reserve the 19-20 of Nov. Now !!!

    Stay tuned for more info......

    Smile I 2nd that Lars !!!

I remember all too well how cold I was on the drive home.....brrrrrr.......

Rain....then freezing rain (with no wipers) changing to snow.... holding my gloved hand on the inside of the windsheild to maintain a small un-frosted hole to look thru.... ...too scary...don't want to do that again.

That was a freak weather thing tho.....not likely to happen in Palm Springs two years in a row !!!
