    Event Hotel

    Ok. everyone, Did a dry run out to PS this last weekend and after looking at a few hotels the decision was the WYNDHAM PALM SPRINGS HOTEL. This I believe was the same hotel that several RGruppe members stayed at last year and gave it great reviews.

    Initially I have blocked out 10 dbl rooms at $139/++ per nite we must fill this minimum by OCT 20th or the room rate goes back up to the regular $189/++ per nite.

    Please book your room asap !!!

    Thumbs up LG's for Dinner...!!!!

    My RGruppe admin gals Gloria & Sheila got back to me and it looks like LG's is once again the best place that fits our needs for Sat nite Nov 19th.

    We have made 7 pm dinner reservations for 25 at LG's.

    and let me know how many, ok? I must dial in with the mgmt as to how many to expect if it is over our preliminary guess of 25.

    Exclamation Pending Hotel rate cutoff

    Just rec'd a call from our contact person at the Wyndham Hotel in Palm Springs. I was advised that as of today (10/13/05) there have been ZERO reservations made. The hotel's cutoff date to get the special reduced group rate is OCT. 20th. After that the rates go up.

    See my post above for the exact rates and details.

    It should be remembered that the "Peak Season" in Palm Springs begins in mid-November and hotels are booked weeks in advance so plan accordingly.

    If you have any questions pls pm me here at the Early S registry. I'll be chkg for msgs daily so I'll get back to you.

    Just made my reservation. FYI - Their system says 10/20 is the last day for the reduced rate.

    With the hotel cutoff a few days away, who has reserved? The weekend has ALWAYS been alot of fun.

    I know that Lars, Will S., Doug, and myself wll be staying at the Wyndham. Who else?
