    This is such BS:

"fitted with very powerful 1976 Euro Carrera 3.0 RS engine"

There is no such thing! There is a '74 Carrera RS and a '76 Carrera RS but this engine is from neither type of car.

Brian is so right, its all BS. This is not an RS, its a US spec Carrera (originally 175 bhp). Looks like the motor may be a Carrera 3.0 200 bhp CIS motor

Now here is the real deal. A '74 Carrera 2,7 w/ matching 911/83 motor. Great color too! I wonder about the Sporto, maybe it would be fun for a while. Take that A/C out though.

I'd have to have the 915 back in it. There is another one of these floating around in Pano if any of you hadn't noticed. It's been for sale for at least 2 years. The NC branch of the "Registry" has not taken note or if they have it must be a "crab".

Tom, if you mean the Lime Green one, it's a crab. And I'm not even from NC...

    Stacy,

I think Tom is talking about one of the 123 '76 Carrera 2,7 cars that has been for sale for a long time in North Carolina. It is owned by a guy called Doc Steiner. I have some photos of it on the other computer. These are rare cars and are homologated as a true Carrera RS, but he wants a lot of money for it and it must not be that nice or it would have been sold a very long time ago.

The very one. I think something like 110,000 miles on it converted from km if my memory is correct. It's like a stale real estate listing. Something is turning somebody away.
