    Serious Horsepower

Whilst attending a round of the Aussie V8 Supercar series today in Melbourne, I was wandering around the paddock with my 8 year old son who spotted this item.

Now you seriously have to wonder about a guy who puts a Rolls Royce jet engine into a motorbike, and also about his thoughts of how long the rear tyre will last. I guess he's not after traction, just something to stop the rear end dragging along the ground.

Which is probably a good idea 'cause he seems to have 2 very large tanks of rocket fuel suspended either side of the jet engine outlet.

Is it just me or is it a good idea to have your fuel tanks right next door to the flame part of the jet engine ??

At least he has named the contraption appropriately.....

The rider was nowhere to be seen. I was looking around for someone with scars from a frontal lobotomy as the likely candidate who rides this thing but alas he was probably already locked up safely in his cell for the night.
