Yes, well done England! And respect to the Australian team, especially Shane Warne.

    Wink

By cricket do you mean that little noisy bug that kids like to play with and step on here in the States?! Or are you refering to that game which is similar to croquet and lawn bowling in which all of the players dress completely in white - and no one ever gets their clothes dirty! How tough of a game can that be!!!???

Thanks Nick, nice to see some good ole English sportmanship. And yes, our Warney played some pretty good cricket. Heaven help us if we have to explain to our US friends what a "Googly" or a "Wrong'un" is.

Of course they would probably have trouble explaining their game of "football' to us.. You know the one where they all get dressed up in body armour and helmets so they dont get hurt and throw and run around with a BALL that hardly ever comes into contact with the FOOT.

    Touche.

I may live in Scotland but that don't make me Scottish. Born and brought up in the red rose county and proud of it.

The quality of the series was due to the brilliance and fair play by BOTH sides and I applaud all the players for that.

Yes, 18 years is a long time to wait but you can't blame us for enjoying the moment.
