    An Amazing Coincidence

Can there really be two identical 1973 911Ss around?

Believe it or not these are not the same car. There appear to be two black 1973 911S targas with factory A/C, full red leather, sport seats, wheel lip mouldings and through the grill fogs floating around ebay. One was sold in July and one is up for sale right now. I had to stare at the pictures for an hour before concluding that they are not the same car.

How many 911s could Porsche have built like this and what are the odds that two cars so similarly equipped with such rare options and color combos are not somehow related?

The current one has deep sixes... not correct for a '73

    Wink

That one on EBay right now with a bid of $15,100 needs ALOT of work. Getting those door jams welded in with good gaps is a very delicate job.
And leaving an engine for 20 years will require all new engine seals at a minimum and probably an overhaul of the MFI. Then there is the new interior, serious paint job and a host of ther surprises in store for the buyer which will easily run a tab of $20k or more. But if done right, the new owner will have the perfect dracula mobile 2.4S for around $40-45K.....
