    Schrager Early 911 book?

Anyone know when Jims book on the early 911's is coming out?
I met him at the Parade and found out about the book. At that time it was in galleys to be out soon, but I have not seen anything yet.
He has to be one of my favorite car writers and his insight on P cars is always right on.

I didn't know Jim was writing a book on early 911s. He has good insight and owns a bunch of them. I have his email address at home so I will contact him and find out about the status of the book.

Shrager's "Porsche Gesprach" is quite good. His column is the first thing I read every month when I receive my copy of SCM...

That knucklehead Keith Martin can only blather on about Alfa's and such. He's getting way too impressed with himself of late and with this Barrett Jackson gig he's over the top.

I agree completely. If you've seen that book "Keith Martin on Porsche", well it just sticks wrong. It's all Jims work with Keiths name on the cover.
Actually I'm a writer myself and was working on a book on early 911's (what a suprise) as a means of taking time off from the novels. When I talked to Jim and found out he was doing a book I stepped aside. He is definately the one to write it.
If you have his email please send it along to me. I must have lost it.

I emailed Jim a few months ago about his upcoming early 911 book. I think he said that the book was due to come out around this Jan. I really enjoy his writing, and can't wait for the book to be able to read the completed book. Jim's such a great guy that he even sent me a preview of the first chapter of his new book. It is excellent!
