Man dies in Porsche after selling house to own it
Cold blooded but very funny...............................
But seriously: sell your house and go back to renting. Seems reasonable to me! Shouldn't take too long to save up another down payment and your house might be paid for by the time your kids are old! Man, if my wife would go for this, I'd think about it.

Maybe its just me but ebay really seems like the wrong place to buy or sell such a car.

72targa,your car looks beautiful, are you running 7x15 all the way around, any suspension upgrades, please post more pictures and its nice to see one of your posts without the not mine(smile),more details please and did you say you run chevron motor oil in your car?
Sun Motor Cars cut a new one loose at Manheim not long ago for around $365,000. They were glad to get rid of it. Hell of a drain on the "floor plan".

I heard that too!!very happy to have sold it
OK, I get the hint! More "mine" and less "not mine". That picture was taken in 1987 or so, I believe (pre-marriage and pre-kids). Amazingly, I still have the car. I also have a wife and two boys, one 15 (who now wants to drive the car and says it's "his") and one 11-year-old.Originally Posted by gymmoe
Yes, I was running 7x15's all around with Yokohama A001R 195-60/15 tires at the time . It did not bother me at the time but now I have a minor restoration project on my hands. No problem with clearance in the front. However, in the back, the tires rubbed the inner fender well and blistered the paint above the rear fender lips. I currently have the original 6x15 Fuchs on the car. I also have '74 aluminum trailing arms (yes, I kept the originals!) with lots of negative camber so there's LOTS OF SPACE now. I'll try sometime to post some current pics.
As for oil, I run Chevron Delo 400 Multigrade SAE 15W-40. I'd be happy to debate the pros and cons of my choice of oil. For the record, I've worked for Chevron for 21 years and have spent my whole time there researching, selling and managing lubricanting oils and greases.
Thanks for asking!
Peter
