Can you tell me what the engine serial number is?

"The 1970-to-1971 2.2-liter S with mechanical fuel injection is the absolute top choice. These 2.2 S engines are short-stroke, high-compression powerhouses without substantial emissions-control clutter, and they have a powerband with gobs of high-rpm torque. With their mechanical fuel injection still intact, they make a spine-tingling shriek as they shoot to redline."

"The early 911S is the purest form of Porsche 911 ever built. Before the early S-type, the 911 was simply slow, a 130 horsepower car on skinny tires. After the early S-type, the 911 became heavy and complicated. But when Porsche added 30 horsepower and race-bred chassis equipment to the 911 in 1967, one of the best sports cars of all time was created."(Automobile Magazine)
Come visit a "slow 911" sometime...

Thanks for posting the link.
And yes Tom, I'd have to agree, some T's are very fast. At the last PCA club race up here at Lime Rock Peter Brittingham was out in a 69T, stock!
That car was really moving and almost won. You know what a club race is like there is quite a bit of hot machinery. Including lots of hot shoes like Darrin who was leading the race in a prepped Carrera, something from the 80's. And to see Pete flying around after him in a stock 69T on skinny tires, well that was something.

Tom, I've been using that quote from Automobile Magazine for quite a while. I did not mean any insult to your "T". It looks like a nice ride. Actually it's a great color......hmmmm kind of familiar...
You know, I do see a similarity.
