Early Sports Seats for sale

These are not mine but would sure like to buy them. Any thoughts on value and how much for Autos international to refurbish them?

Well, first off they are incomplete...they are missing the correct sliders to bolt up to the tip bracket. You can try to manufacture them yourself from the slider that's offered with the auction, and it could probably be done, but I haven't seen any completed ones yet. I think NiceT is trying to do this with his own slider setup.

Next, though they will fit any 911 from 65 to 73, they are only correct for a 68 given the headrests, tip bracket and slider mechanism style.

As far as value? Not sure of what his reserve is, but he offered them to me for $3,000 and I turned them down.

Not sure of Tony's costs, as it varies depending upon how much work the seats themselves need, as far as rebuilding the foam, any weld repairs to the structures, rebuilding the recliners, replating the sliders (amazingly expensive!!!), etc. etc. So, if you are willing to do a lot of the work on the sliders and tip brackets in terms of refinishing, and if the recliners are in good shape, you can probably get them done pretty reasonably.
