    Impromptu NE "Gathering"

Well, not exactly a gathering, but Steven Harris stopped by on Sunday with his friend Ross in tow. They had just picked up Ross' new toy, a signal yellow '70 T with 75k mi on it. Nice shape with what appears to be orig. paint.

After the requisite amount of poking around, it was off to enjoy the nice New England fall weather and roads!

The cars you need more photos of are the two in the garage - Jol's wife's chartreuse RS and his white RS - they are real RSs. Mine is a replica built from a 73 911E with 2.9 twin plug. The engine in my car was built by Rob King of S Car Go in N. California, from whom Jol bought his 914. Small world.

Really nice car that Ross bought ... I imagine it is the one sold by David Dugan last week that one or two of the members went to have a look at and spoke positively of ... good to see it went to a good home ...

The car I love is Steven's black twin plug 2.9. The paint is so perfect, all the orange peel blocked out and buffed. Sounds great too!

Good eye: Ross's car was bought from Dave Dugan. A very nice, original paint, 75k mile car. Good home with Ross in Stone Ridge, NY
