Thread: Needed, not wanted!

    Needed, not wanted!

I just sold my RS (didn't want to ship it from Europe, restore it, etc), and the desperation is already setting in. I could really use all the help I can get to locate a suitable replacement.

I'll take either nice original S or a neat RGruppe. The 69S that just sold looked wonderful - sorry I missed it! I'm obviously reluctant to say money is no object, but I'm ready to pay for a good car.

If an original car, the requisites are matching numbers, original color (obviously original paint is better), and must have all original paint in the front trunk and engine compartment. Also, I strongly prefer a 70/71S, especially with sport seats and a sunroof!

If an RGruppe, well, you know the right one when you see it...

    Thanks a lot folks,
    Lee

has anyone seen or examined the Rose Red 72S for sale in the Atlanta area? It sounds nice, but I'm not sure I can live with that color...

Haa. Yes, that would do nicely. However, as consolation I see you are in Oregon. I am in California. ENJOY THE RAIN!!! BWAAHHHAAA!!
Note: Long-time Oregonian, UofO class of '75 (GO DUCKS!), but have escaped to sunny California and loving it!!
That is just one flat-out very nice car. I hope you enjoy it for many years to come.

    Lee,
I owned that car quite a few years ago. PM if you want to talk about it, the color is intense, you either love it or hate it.
