    Hey Bobby

    Did you have a hard time installing the factory dash? When all was said and done I still had quite a gap between the pad and the rear edge of the right defrost vent.

    That's not good to hear.

    I haven't recieved my factory dash yet. I ordered from Stoddard earlier this week when I decided to put my Just Dashes unit in the 73'.

    One thing's for sure. I don't see the price of these early cars going down anytime soon. Quality parts are becoming scarce to maintain them. I was talking with Urs Gretner (restorer RSKs and other early racers) the other day and he said Porsche had shipped off some of the tools to the Czech Republic for making parts for 89 and earlier cars but he believes they may just ditch making anymore parts because even though it is profitable they've had some quality control problems and it doesn't compare to the profit they make on building new cars.
