It's a very cool car; the color is even better in person. I would really hope that somone close buys it so we can all see it again. Good luck!

    Ty

    Thanks guys,

This targa is almost my favorite 911 that I have owned.

AND definitely the car that I have gotten the most compliments.... averaging ONE/Week... no kiding... and I've owned some neat cars in the past.

    Someone adopt it please.

    Your Mail Box is full

    Alex,
I am interested in the 2.4E motor. Plse advise why it is not running properly? Also, is the MFI set-up complete and working?
By the way, tried PM'ing you, but your mail box was full.
    Thanks and Regards

    E motor

Sorry, emptied out some junk in the mailbox....

Anyhow the 911E motor has about 58K miles on it ... I rescued the car after sitting for a few years supposedly driven several times a year .... yeah right.

Anyhow got the car and obviuosly it had oil leaks galore, fuel leaks, Master shot and the car barely ran.

Spent some time and got it running very well!

    Here's my theory:
Ran the mixture too fat when I was messing with the car
Coupled with a possible leaky MFI - leaky into the oil system.
Car started a rod knock melody that got louder over a few weeks
Finally gave up the ghost at under 1 mile/hour tourqing up a steep hill.
    NOT catastrophic IMO
Scoped the heads - no diagnosis elucidated

Engine did run great otherwise BUT would highly recommend fresh MFI system - everything.
