hey bob! while im not a post whore here, i frequently check out whats going on here and occasionally post. reason for me not being around the last week or 2 is because i started a new job thats taxing alot of my evenings. and this last weekend i was completely with out a computer as i treated myself for all my hard work at the new job with a trip to so cal.

we had one of our annual 912 events in OC, and instead of the usual BBQ and tech session, the president provided a catoring and a dyno for our pleasure. interestingly enough, none of the heavily modified 912s were there, but there were a few powerful cars on hand. Ironically, Hillman, who specified to Devon to build his motor for reliability and longevity, and didnt want anything to do with extra power supprised all (and especially himself) when he pulled the most HP, less than 1 HP above Jeff Trask, whose car is known to have a bit of power. Jeff's car had a much better curve through out the range though on both HP and Torque -thus having more 'useful power' if you want to call it that.

we learned some really interesting things this weekend. Daves still obsessing about jets though. Next time i need to go for a bay area event. Maybe we can finally meet sometime.

I second Tyson's server comment. I'm on high speed lines at home and work and hve been pretty frustrated waiting for the site to load. Or, maybe the weather's getting better and we're out driving our cars??
