    RS Scale Models

I came across these Carrera RS scale models and thought they may be of interest. This is high-end jewel-quality stuff. Handbuilt by Scala43 of Germany. 1:43 scale (3-4 inches long). Around $200 US. Numerous color combos, but only 10 of each color built. They've also got some Safari Rallye versions. Nice stuff!

No Tangerine ones, bummer. Guess I just saved myself $225 though.

Hey Brian, looks like they have added a couple of orange versions at the link Curt gave us. Just thought you might be interested.

Cool, color code 018. There is also Signal Orange and S. Yellow too. With Christmas just around the corner I can see one of these wrapped under the tree. Ho, Ho, Ho.

How long is the model at 1/43 scale? Thanks for the link.

Edit: I see in the first post Curt says 3-4 inches long.

    Red face RS models

Clever people at Scala43! I guess now I need to order in January a dalmation (sea blue) RS. Too late for Sinterklaas this year...

One of VonBulow's 1/43rd handbuilt pieces from 10 years ago or so. I think there are well over 100 parts in this RS. Sorry for the fuzzy photo (and the dust and the dirt).

Speaking of scale cars, here is a 1/87th version of a dear friend's RS by Hi-Tech. Wicked cool! (note the Swiss decal )
