    Tire pressures for 205/60HR/15 ??

What are people with these size tires running for air pressure
    front & rear ?

I thought my Dunlops were a bit soft in the sidewall until I checked
the pressure & found only 23 psi front/rear

I did a search, no answer...sorry if this has been covered
    already 1000 times !

    thanks

I have always heard that you are suppose to run your tire air pressure based on the particular cars requirements, not the particular tire. I think that would be 26 front and 29 back for early S

You could always look at the little foil sticker on the car that tells you what the factory wants you to run.

For street driving on my 205/60-15" Michelins, I use 29F and 31R cold pressures on a 2370 lb. car. For "spirited" driving, I would bump that up a couple of pounds.

For R-compound tires, it's a whole 'nuther ballgame.

    YMMV,

When I had my old 205/60-15's (Toyo Proxes H4 M&S - aka flintstone mobile tires) I ran 29 F/32 rear. Ride comfort seemed ok and tire wear was normal. At AutoX, I raised the pressures by 5 psi to stop the side wall from rolling over.
