    Early Roll Cage ID needed

Trying to figure out what type of roll cage was installed in my newly aquired 68 Rally car so I can try and find a replacement. Yes, I know I can have one made but would like to get the actual type that was in the car. The cage itself is long gone. What I am left with are the mounts. The main legs mount to the sills and have three bolts roughly 3" and 1" apart in a triangle . The very rear legs mount to the rear wheel well with two bolts bolted through. The car spent most of it's life in Italy and the cage was before 1988 judging from the picture of the car that have. Any help is greatly appreciated. Rick C. Please let me know what your Matter cage looks like. Thanks guys.

Thanks Rob, The bolt patern is different though I think. This mount has two bolts toward the frint of the car about1" apart and a third hole about 3" back forming a triangle. The mounting leg on the cage was only about 1.5" x 4" and just a flat piece not an angled piece, same on the main hoop part, three bolts on the flat part. Is this what you remember on the cage that you sold? Thanks Rob.

Eric. I sure hope so,, Schmidt's 5 cylinder Tristar is holding us up. Wouldn't pass emmisions. Believe me, I want that rigg out of here (with your goods of course) and off to the West coast ASAP.

If it takes longer,, i'm sending my son down to Rick's anyways in about a week and he'll greyhound the bar to you.

    Regards, Robert.
