    Italian Rally drivers sought

Hoping to find and make contact with the FOUR original owners of my Italian 68S Rally car. Seems these four team mates chipped in to buy the car new as per the Kardex. I have done some research and these guys were the real deal driving in the Monte and Targa Florio. Their names: Carlo Cremascoli, Federico Giunta, Romano Romoino, and Vic Alanio. Not 100% on the last person's name spelling. Anyone out there know how I may contact any of them? Thanks.

Hey Tom I resent that statement !!! You know me and da boys could pay you a visit if you know what I mean ??? Their english isn't so good but they get the message and hopefully so do you !!! And don't let it fool you that I now live in CT that was all part of the program, you know the Witness Protection program.

    Oh I guess I shouldn't have said that !!!

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

    Rennman,

Where was the car sold? Do you have this information?

There is a Porsche rally / race outfit in Sicily called Filipone Racing

Nice website, and I don't know if they speak english, but you can try.

If the guys come from around Turin, or even Emilia Romagna (Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Bologna) I may be able to help.

    Dom,

The car was from a dealer in Bologna so they may not be far away. Thanks for the lead but the link is not working.

Joe Cheech, part of being in the WPP is not telling anyone where you are. Now you will have to move again.

    Thanks guys.

    Don,
Did you buy the green 68S in Zurich, Switzerland? I considered buying the car twice, in early 2004 and some weeks ago. The day I looked at it the dealer informed me that it was sold. Pity it was very nice!

    Don,
The importer and service listed for Bologna is Autogerma, one other service center in Bologna is Adobello Soverini, the only two listed for Bologna in the 1968 factory service book.
