Refurbishing eye hooks with Poly Shied...

Can you tell I'm bored and feel the need to tinker? This is the stuff you dip tool handles in to give it that rubber coating.

    Bob,

Can you post a link to the manufacturer or where to buy that substance. I need to coat the stops on my sportseats as the covers are NLA. Thanks.

    Bob,
Spit it up.....Great work!! If you are bored, I have other projects you can start on!
Is this product easy to apply? Where do you get it. User friendly?

Silly me, but what is the application for these eye hooks?

The product is called Polsyshield which is a canister like container that looks like it would hold 3 raquetballs - $6.95 from local home improvement store. Object can be dipped or brushed on - very user friendly. This was 4 dips with one half hour drying time in between.

Sorry...the product is called Polyshield. Easier to retype instead of waiting for the server to edit my post.

I gotcha on that...I've tried editing to correct spelling. Decided it's easier to just let the typos be...
