Weidman. He did rough annodize with polished lip on my 73 E/RS wheels - beautiful job. Wheel Enhancement refinished wheels on 89 Speedster - okay, but nothing special.

    Weidman

I have not had any experience with other shops, but i can tell you that the 4.5's I had done by Weidman's are VERY nice. He provides excellent service and is more than willing to talk wheels and cars. I'll go back if I ever need another set of wheels.

Weidman did some RSR wheels for me and they were perfect!.....I'd highly recommend him.

extensive thread on this - use search button

Bottom Line: Wiedmann is best; Al Reed is pretty good

I could've done a search, but then I would have not had a chance to see any new discussion (this IS a discussion board. ). Also, I had not seen any comments on Wheel Enhancements which used to be Robert Woods, a PCA advertising staple for a million years. I appreciate the added votes of confidence in Harvey.

Do a search here and on Pelican on Wheel Enhancement. The responses I got during my research were ambivalent, at best. Al Reed is also good from what I hear; he and Weidman shold be the only you two you are considering.

    "I could've done a search..."

    - It's best to do a search first, then people will be more inclined to post discussion comments as they won't think you're so lazy that it isn't worthwhile.
