Sunroof drain location for '68 911

Hi all,

I have an esoteric question of the day. Can those owners or restoration experts tell me if they seen '68 sunroof coupes with either the high drain (like 356) and/or the lower drain for the sunroof?

The reason I ask is that I have seen photos of very original cars that had both (not on the same car though ), but Morgan's book says the high drains were continued on the B program cars ('68) and changed for '69. Johnson's book says the change occured after '67. I was wondering if '68 cars could have come from the factory with either style that year depending on what roofs were available to put on the chassis as they were being built. Thanks.

I had a 68 911 (1183292) that had a very early style Golde roof with the motor at the front. The drain holes were at the botoom of the C pillars as in the later cars.

I just sold a 66 with the holes in the c pilars, wich i had to ropen, the precious owner had closed thme, did not know what they were for.
