    Different shades of orange

Are Signal orange and tangerine different colors? Are there other shades of orange?

Signal orange, Tangerine and Gulf Orange were all different colors available in 72, 73. In 70,71 only Tangerine and Signal Orange were available. 68, 69 only Tangerine. The Signal orange which I think is the same as Blood Orange is a little darker than Tangerine. I think someone here has a color chip they can post.

Blood Orange & Tangerine are the same... just differnet translations of the German name Blut Orange (or something like that).

Signal Orange is lighter than Tangerine/Blood Orange. All great colors IMO.

    Here's my Tangerine/Blood Orange

    Tangerine

Here's my Tangerine 70. The car is as delivered in 12/69. Paint is original, except the hood.

Here you go. From the '72 color chart. The left one is Tangerine, which is more red, then Gulf orange which is a true orange, and then Signal, which has more yellow in it.
