    Muffler manufacturer

Which manufacturer supplied Porsche with the mufflers in the early 70's?
I found a part number, 901.011.08/9070, on a muffler but can't find a relation with a PET number. Any idea?

    Thanks,

    Cees

    muffler manufacturer

Thanks, I just scraped some paint of the muffler I recently bought, and stamped in it was Bishoff. The number 901.011.08/9070 must be their internal number. The size of the 070 is a bit bigger, could be the manufacturing date. Would there be any (performance, back pressure) difference between the Leistritz and the Bischoff?
