Thats on the high side of true...but $500 - $700 seem to be the number right now. They must be very nice for $700 though. No pitting, all operational and nice lenses.

Good luck. And if anyone has a singe nice bezel for an H1 I am in the market for one.

    Cheers,

all depends on condition, but they are prob. worth more than that if nice

I think I got the last pair of new ones imported into the US - paid about $1300 or a bit more.

I recently picked up some very nice used ones - one chrome ring has some minor "texture" to it, but not visibly noticeable. I paid $350 USD.

I've seen several sets go for $500 in the last few months. NOS is prob worth $700.

FWIW I have a very nice pair of LHD H1 sealed beam (US spec) lights sitting in my garage collecting dust. I am in the UK but happy to send them on to a good home and certainly wouldn't ask for $700 so if someone wants to make me an offer send a PM.

    "H1 sealed beam"

    - We all need to be clear on what we are talking about. To me, H1's are NOT sealed beam units. They have twin bulbs in each housing and each bulb has its own, independently adjustable reflector. That is why they are so valuable.

    EDIT:
Sorry I have no good pics - hard to do w/o taking them apart. Might be some on Pelican...
Look thru the glass and see a wide reflector for one bulb AND another reflctor above it. That's a tell-tale.
Also, look at the rear and see TWO bulb holders.
