    Dave's in Excellence - AGAIN

For those of you who read Excellence, or were at the Taj this past summer, Dave Conklin (our own Cornpanzer) wrote a very nice article on the event - pages 159 - 160.

He made special note of the AutoX, and a very nice mention of yours truly. So this is not only Cudoooos to Dave for having his name in lights again, but tootin' a bit of my own horn - I got my 5 minutes of fame.

thanks dave. Oh, and here's the pic that he didn't have of Kermit going around on 3 wheels.

After I climbed out, I tried to find someone that had it on video, but everyone was laughing so hard that I never got a straight answer.

Dave, I'm a little disappointed in this article. As a member of 'the media' you should be spinning the news toward your own personal viewpoint ..... so what's with all the friggin' safety bumpers in those photos!

Haven't read it yet - bit I will. Congrats Dave.

Larry, I'm wondering what's your expression in the above pic?? Determination? Terror? That "Oh God, I'm gonna take out that next CONE" look??
It certainly looks dramatic - maybe you and Kermit should hit the road as a modern day "Joie Chitwood" auto thrill show!!

And fortunately, Dave was skilled enough to help me put the body back on after the last spin.
