I've always considered the glass to be half full...that is until I reached middle age and realized that it is actually half empty.

    You got it Bobby....

    8484 - was 324 until '72 ... then 8484 turned into 334 in '73 ... same color

    rvdv...

You got some more pics of your car? ... These metallics REALLY change color in the different light ...

I have pics of my car that range from from Aqua to Purple....sometimes in the same shot....

    Cheers,

Having several blue cars, I can honestly say that they change colors dramatically under different lighting....and I have yet to get a "true color" picture to "post" using a variety of cameras and settings (but then I'm not Randy Wells either....). Chuck, yours looks great in that first pic!

Here's my recently acquired 72....it looks darker and richer in person.

that is a beautiful car. I just aquired a 70S, 8484, however it was painted black along the way. I hope when its finished it looks like yours. There will be a few "twists" along the way. I've been jaded by the Rgruppe "force" so I would guess that there will a few sports purpose changes.

    Eric...what can I say...."job very well done" !!!

...and of course Chuck, your car is always "10" on my scale...

    thanks guyz !!

Chuck, Curt, Eric, here is another pic of my car at the local PCA concours this summer. As you can see the colour does change under different lighting conditions. Not only under different light, also when you look at a panel at different angles the colour also changes to a purplish tint, one of Chuck's photos clearly shows this. I find that this colour looks best at dawn, dusk, and overcast conditions, not in bright sunlight, would you agree Chuck, Eric? Are you going to respray with 8484 Curt?

Yep..8484..but NO rockers and 72-73 front spoiler. Also, hood mounted lights, and snap down front and rear latches. H-1's, lightweight interior, and maybe a bit of fiberglass...

Ray...I wood never stomp in your 70 grounds..Your "hot-rods" are great. BTW, it was great to see ya in Ventura. ( BTW, you've got a great 72 Targa that people don't even know about)..

    ...again, thankz guyz

    Cheers
    Curt
