66 - 68 Spare Parts Catalogue, Any interest in a copy?

I recently sold the following item on eBay for over $500 Is there any interest in this if I were to get it copied? I made a copy for me which cost $85, but I live in a small town, I could probably copy it cheaper in Boise. If there is interest... It's full of great info as you can see in the eBay add. BTW, I saw no copyright marks, neither did the copy center.

The preceding item is for sale once I come up with an amount, the following items are currently for auction on eBay. I fell a little guilty using this forum for eBay, but not guilt enough not to as many others do. It is some good early stuff though.

My spare parts catalog is two volumes. There appears to be only one in the auction. Did they condense it to one volume lately? Did yours contain the Body sections?

Just one...the complete title is "Spare Parts Catalogue groups 1 thru RS type 911/912 1966-1968"
It contains sections on: Engine; Fuel tank heating; Transmission; Front axle, steering; Rear axle; Brakes, Wheels; Pedal system and levers; Body; Electrical Equipment; Accesories; Page reference for part numbers; Repair Sets.
I realize this is only a copy but thought some might want it for its info.

    Thanks,

    Rick

I actually was a member back in 1992...Back the there were two registries, one by Fred Trueman and one by Betsi March and Vern Lyle. Did the two merge? I still have some of the "Esses" periodicals that are just sheets of paper cpoied and folded in half. I now drive a 15 passenger 4X4 van as I've got ten kids, can't quite fit in the 911 anymore . Hense the lapse in membership....How many of you belonged back then Michael?

    Thanks,

    Rick

not to cast aspersions, but i don't think the manual was printed during the period in question, but may be a later Stoddard or factory reprint. note the clear plastic "slip in" indicating models, etc. all of my originals are in maroon binders with car graphics on the cover and large model number designations.
anybody else ? i'll see if Charlie White can weigh in on this. as a note, the RS designation denotes Repair Sets, not RennSport.

    Jerry,

Please DO cast aspersions . All I know is I puchased it from Stoddard back in the early 80's, and it appears to contain factory info related to all the early 911/912. It's definitely a German Binder, we (US) don't make binder locking devices this clever. Regardless, it contains useful info on early 911s.

    Thanks,

    Rick

So are we now going to argue about "correct" parts books????? A repro will give just as correct/incorrect part #'s as an original in my opinion....

By the way, I've got a single binder 1979 Factory reprint of this book, and it looks different from the one that Rick has.

    Rick;
understood... and 80's would have been my guess as well. (Charlie White did concur, BTW) it certainly is a factory piece. the reason the top and back pages stuck to the vinyl covers is because they were Xerox copies vs. the original offset. IIRC, the '66 - '68 was in 2 volumes and the '69 edition went to 3. the parts manuals are a wealth of information and provide exploded views which greatly aid disassembly & reassembly. (the factory shop manual assumes you've been through their mechanics training). checking Stoddard, unless my search arguement is suspect, indicates that the early hardcopy manuals, both shop & parts, are NLA.

What do the catalogues have that PET doesn't have? I have the 72/73 parts book, and I haven't noticed any differences from PET, except PET is easier to use.
