    Angry removing wheel locks

Just purchased a 67 911s. The alloys are locked with wheel locks that were purchased from perf. products in 85. Ive had no luck finding the correct key from the various vendors. I know some of you have been down this road...dont want to drill out if their is a better way. thanks for the help.

    Spyder,

When all else fails, call a 'good' tire/wheel shop in your area and they will know, show you, or (for a price) remove them for you.... They have to do it EVERY day.... They usually have primitive but ingenious tools and ways to do get this done for their customers ....

    Hope this helps,

This topic comes up with some degree of regularity on the Pelican BBS (http://forums.pelicanparts.com). Do a seacrh there for some of the methods suggested (I'd give you a search link but I cannot access them from where i am right now).

There's always the hi-tech thievery method: Liquid nitrogen, vice grips and a hammer. Have fun getting the stud out, though.
