    Reproduction Windshields

    Hello all,
I'm in the process of trying to get reproduction Sigla windshields made if there is enough interest. They would be exact reproduction tinted not shaded with the proper Sigla logo and markings. I would have to get at least 25 made and cost would be around $500.00. And YES you can get them CHEAPER for non period correct ones!
If you are interested please let me know.
    All the best!

    Thumbs up

If this repro is produced right, and I have no doubt that Roger would see to it, it's a really good deal...

The last time I heard of a 'factory' early Sigla available was about a year and a half ago, and it was $575.00 (jobber price), PLUS and 'special' no-exception shipping charge (for glass) of $200.00 ... again that was a year and half ago.

The way I run my car, I'll stick with my $139.00 PPG's

Roger... BIG thanks for your homework and motivation...

    Cheers,

I thought the originals were clear?

Also, where are you getting $139 PPG's, Chuck? I can't find aftermarket at the glass companies in the area. They tell me that it's a dealer only item.

Tinted was an option. Roger, I'm still mulling it over...gambling that I won't need it? Geeze, where do I store a spare windshield? How to justify a $500 purchase of something I hope I'll never use? ARRGH!

Randy, FWIW, I believe that tinted in windshield only would be "correct", options wise. Of course, others here may disagree...
