Thread: I got my new VIN plate!

I got my new VIN plate!

I got my new VIN palte from Dave Aase for my '69S. I have to say, I really appreciate his help. The plate is indeed 100% correct and verified against the pic of the original VIN plate Bill Noon had on his recently sold '69S. I wish I had my camera with me to show you how nice it is!

This is merely another huge recommnedation for anyone wanting to do business with Dave.

Mine is NOS, not made. I think later cars can get teh mdirect from Porsche. Earlier cars need to find an NOS source, although I believe there may be some repops out there; perhaps from Stoddard's?

If that's all you are giving them, please send them to me, as well. I have mad graphical skills (if I say so myself) and can build anything for output by a print shop. What I don't have access to is the dies, etc. I could get us at least as far as an exemplary vector based image file that is ready for any printshop to use. I even already have the font used by Porsche on all stickers, plates, etc. I'm also free $$$.

    Gentlemen,

This seems to be a "slippery slope". The word counterfit comes to mind!!

The next step could be $100 dollar bills???
