Data Sticker - Left Door Jamb???

    Model year 1972

Did all units produced have the silver data sticker in the left door jamb, or was it only applied to cars destined for specific markets?

    thanks
    Cheers!

thank you...I just found the thread from several weeks ago where pwd72s said only US-destined units got the sticker.

any other obvious ways to tell if a particular unit from the 1972 model year was originally a row car?
    Cheers!

well likely ROW speedo in kmph, front / rear parking light lense colors diff than us, headlamps not sealed beam or snowcone style used in US mkt and the COA would say US Equipment if car was mfg for US mkt.

Would not have the small VIN plate rivited to the inside left windshield A post.

Front turn signal buckets if original would have an extra divider plate inside except for Italy.

Thank you pwd. I seem to recall a thread which includes many, many picutures of your '72. I'd like to refer to them for determining what's original and correct on my '72. Can you please point me in the right direction?
    Cheers!

My 72, 9112101030 built 12/22/71 does not have the seat belt sign on the dash, nor does it have the buzzers and the wiring under the seats.

"Chicagoland"...I grew up in Rogers Park, and we raised our family in the NW suburbs - Morton Grove and Arlington Hts. before moving to FL in '98. Where are you?
